The Nineteenth Father and Son Tournament to be held at the home of golf promises another truly international field. In all, golfers from 22 different countries have competed in this unique event, held in honor of the legendary Old Tom Morris and his son Tommy. Held over five days, the tournament is 72 holes of competition golf over St Andrews New Course, Kingsbarns Golf Links, Championship Course Carnoustie and culminating at the legendary Old Course. There is availability for a maximum of 48 golfers (24 teams).

Competition Format 72-hole two-man competition (better ball stableford format) held over St Andrews New Course, Carnoustie, Kingsbarns Golf Links and the Old Course. The best net score will count at each hole as the team score. The overall winners will be the team with the highest aggregate points over the four rounds. Two other competitions will run concurrently with the team competition on the Old Course - Individual Stroke Play (Scratch) and Individual Stroke Play (handicap). The stableford competition will be based on ¾ handicap and the stroke play competition will be based on full handicap. Nearest the Pin competitions on each of the four rounds.
